How to use your Fort Knox Federal Check Card FEE FREE: 
Use your check card as ‘credit’ instead of 'debit' when making purchases to avoid transaction fees. 

1 Prompt Pay- Must have active Fort Knox Federal (FKFCU) account with active direct deposit. Prompt Pay is subject to when FKFCU receives pay information from the Federal Reserve.
2 Wireless carrier fees may apply.
3 Up to four ATM fee rebates per month and free ATM withdrawals from any Fort Knox Federal Credit Union Branch ATM. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT---To help the Government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires that we obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. To comply with this law, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information to help us positively identify you. We will also ask to see your driver’s license and other identifying documents.

Switching Over

Transferring your financial information is surprisingly easy when you use the forms below.

Checking Account Transfer

To transfer your money to your Fort Knox Federal account, fill out this form and turn it in to your current financial institution.

Payroll Direct Deposit

Switching your direct deposit is as easy as filling out the Direct Deposit form and handing it to your HR Department.

Automatic Withdrawals

To transfer your automatic withdrawals to your Credit Union account, fill out the Automatic Withdrawal form and send to the company making the withdrawal.

As a courtesy to members in good standing, this service pays checks and electronic transfers, such as ACHs and recurring debit card transactions, that otherwise will not clear. Members may opt out of this service at any time. Additionally, members may choose to have ATM and everyday debit card transactions paid with this service and can opt out at any time.

It's easy to add this protection to your checking account. To Opt-In to Courtesy Pay, or to verify that you are already signed up, contact us at 800-285-5669 or stop by your nearest branch location.

Fort Knox Federal Credit Union's (Credit Union) Courtesy Pay Program is available to member(s) at least 18 years of age and has a checking account open for at least 60 days and is a member in good standing as defined in the Membership Agreement. The Courtesy Pay Program is a non-contractual courtesy, is discretionary, and is not an obligation for the Credit Union. The Credit Union may refuse to provide the courtesy on any checking account at any time and from time to time. Further the Credit Union reserves the right to discontinue the program, make changes to the program, or eligibility therein at any time without notice. An overdraft occurs when you make any transaction that exceeds the available balance in the account you access by check, electronically or otherwise. Members will be assessed a $31 Courtesy Pay Fee for each paid transaction. Additionally, members must reimburse any overdrafts within 30 days. Courtesy Pay is not guaranteed by the existence of a Courtesy Pay Program.
1 Fees may exceed $500 or $750 depending on your protection 2 If member does not have a $500 or greater electronic direct deposit during a 60 day period, the overdraft protection available will automatically revert to $500.

At Fort Knox Federal Credit Union, we understand that waiting for payday can sometimes be tough when you need access to your cash now. With our Prompt Pay service, you can get paid up to two days before everyone else!

That's right! If you have direct deposit with us and we receive your pay early, we'll make it available to you immediately. Prompt Pay offers immediate credit of your direct deposit to your account, up to two days early.

If you have a Fort Knox Federal Credit Union account with direct deposit, you’re automatically enrolled in Prompt Pay. Don't have direct deposit? No worries...sign up is EASY!
